In order to retain some sanity on this project I’m going to imitate all the cool kids and start a blog.
Had a strange dream last night. In the dream, I was going to the Film Victoria offices to pick up some promotional material. When I arrived, the staff were icy and aggressive. One of the female workers reluctantly approached and said “Do you know what is ruining the Australian film industry? YOU!”
As I tried to reason with her about how talking about the current state of affairs is a positive path to change, she began chewing on my thumb. This unprovoked digital assault make me think I needed to file a police report, not that I had suffered any true damage apart from a few teeth marks, but that it would make interesting fodder for the documentary.
As I was now looking for angles in my sleep, I realise that the boat ride into the heart of darkness is truly underway.
And that’s the struth.
