not just a brilliant Australian film

but a brilliant film, period.

There is a lot of debate on this website, but I hope we all can agree that when a local film hits one out the the park, we should support it in droves.

Run, don’t walk, to Mary and Max while it’s still in cinemas. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll thank me later.

For me, it’s Samson and Delilah that shows how Australia can become a great film-making country again.
Forget imitating Hollywood, forget the tired, endlessly rehashed plot structure. It’s time to not just tell Australian stories, but to tell them in a unique way.

So inspirational, Sampson and Delilah film has been a kick in the head for the Australian film industry. Great reviews and box office on a reasonably low budget (1.6 mill). So what do you think are my chances of getting an interview with Warwick Thornton?
